Public transport
You can reach Mürren in an hour from Interlaken Ost station. The blue and yellow train of the Bernese Oberland Railway (BOB) takes you to Lauterbrunnen. You board the front section of the train, as the rear section departs from Zweilütschinen to Grindelwald. You then have two options. Via Grütschalp (gondola and train): At Lauterbrunnen station, cross the road and take the gondola to Grütschalp. Here you change to a small train which takes you to Mürren. The journey from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren takes 23 minutes. Or via Stechelberg (bus and gondola): In Lauterbrunnen, take the bus in the direction of Stechelberg and travel to the Schilthorn cable car station. Here the gondola takes you to Mürren via Gimmelwald in 10 minutes. The journey takes 32 minutes.Timetable and tickets
Directions
Mürren is car-free. If you arrive by car, you must leave it in Lauterbrunnen or Stechelberg and use public transport. The journey from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen takes about 20 minutes, to Stechelberg it takes 25 minutes.Parking:
In Stechelberg there is a parking lot directly at the valley station of the Schilthorn cable car. There is a multi-storey parking garage below the station in Lauterbrunnen. Alternatively, the parking lot at Lauterbrunnen church can be used. From here, a bus runs to the station every half hour. It takes about 10 minutes on foot.

Zurich Airport: Direct trains run every two hours from Zurich Airport to Interlaken Ost. Numerous other connections (with a change in Bern) are available. Travel time: approx. two hoursBasel Airport: You can reach Basel train station in about 15 minutes by bus. From here there are five direct trains a day to Interlaken Ost.
