    Großartige und abwechslungsreiche Kletterei. Die erste Hälfte über interessante Platten, dann aufsteilend über große Schuppen auf einen Pfeiler/Grat mit bestem Fels. Sehr empfehlenswert, der 6. Grat alpin sollte aber schon solide sitzen um Spaß zu haben.

    Ich bin die obere Schlaufe, rund um Accegno gefaheren. Aufwärts fast durchgehend Aspalt.Auf der Abfahrtsseite, erstaunlich einsame Region. Geschätzte 150 Treppenstufen wechseln sich ab mit wenig technisch anspruchsvollen Stellen und langen flowigen Abschnitten.

    Schöner Weg auf den Höhen über Locarno. Auf dem Sentiero Collina Alta gibt es einen Naturlehrpfad mit 18 Tafeln mit Beschreibungen zu den verschiedenen Baumarten auf dem Pfad, und dies in vier Sprachen. Im Sommer ist die Aussicht auf den See nur ab und zu gegeben. Dafür schön Schattig im dichten Wald. Mückenspray empfehlenswert 🦟

    Tolle Tour, tolle Landschaft! Ich bin zwar nur die erste Tagesetappe gewandert, kann das aber bestätigen. Der Weg ist schön und verläuft immer nah am Fluss entlang. Er ist nicht lang, aber man sollte sich Zeit nehmen. Etliche Picknickplätze laden ein zur Rast und an vielen Stellen kann man im Fluss baden. Entsprechend sind hier viele Familien unterwegs. Außerdem sind an verschiedenen Stellen der Tour richtig coole Kugelbahnen aufgebaut. Kinder oder auch Erwachsene können da echt Spaß haben; passende Kugeln kann man in verschiedenen Läden im Tal kaufen. Zur Finanzierung trägt die Verzasca Parking Card bei, die man fürs Parken auf den meisten Parkplätzen im Tal braucht. Man bekommt sie in den Info-Büros oder an Automaten in den Orten.

    Ich habe die Tour heute von Locarno aus gemacht. Der erste Abschnitt ist flach aber landschaftlich sehr schön. Ab Caldenazzo beginnt dann der erste Anstieg auf sehr breiter Straße und mit mäßiger Steigung. Alles easy, auch die Abfahrt bis Taverne geht ruck zuck, da war ich noch wirklich guter Dinge und hab mich auf das Monster gefreut. Es ist dann wie in der Beschreibung, es geht echt krass los und genauso geht es dann weiter. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern wann ich zuletzt einen Berg weitestgehend im Stehen hochgefahren bin. Landschaftlich wird es oben dann superschön mit kleinen Dörfern, kleiner Straße und herrlichem Wald. Zurück am See entlang auch toll, es empfiehlt sich ein Rücklicht für die Tunnel. Leider am See wenig Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Insgesamt eine landschaftlich schöne und sportlich herausfordernde Tour. Vielen Dank dafür!
