Hiking, Climbing & Biking With over 200 km of marked hiking trails, Leukerbad offers a vast network ranging from gentle walks to high alpine tours. Highlights include the historic Gemmi Trail, the loop around Lake Dauben, and the ascent to the Torrenthorn with breathtaking views of the Rhône Valley.
For climbing enthusiasts, the via ferrata on the Daubenhorn – the longest in Switzerland – promises a spectacular experience. Mountain bikers will also enjoy the trails around Torrent, especially the popular Torrenttrail Bike.

Snow Sports in All Facets During the cold season, Leukerbad becomes a true winter paradise. The Torrent ski area offers 50 km of slopes for all skill levels. Leukerbad is the largest thermal spa destination in the Alps: 3.9 million liters of water up to 51 °C gush daily from natural springs. Guests relax at the Leukerbad Therme, the Valais Alpentherme & Spa, or smaller thermal hotels – indoors and outdoors, with views of the surrounding peaks.
