    Das in mehreren Führern angegebene Postauto zur Alpe Vorsiez fährt leider nur am Sonntag und da selten! Unsere Wirtin in Weisstannen konnte aber einen privaten Transport für uns zur Walabütz organisieren. Auch so ist die Etappe noch lange genug!     The hike to Muttenchopf was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had in Switzerland. Starting with the long tunnel walk towards the Limmerensee dam, the atmosphere was already unique and a little mysterious. Stepping out of the darkness and suddenly seeing the turquoise water of the lake surrounded by steep rock walls was absolutely breathtaking. From there, the trail gets steeper and more challenging, especially at the chain section. It’s short but adds just enough adventure to make the climb exciting. Reaching the summit of Muttenchopf was unforgettable — the panoramic views over the turquoise lake and the surrounding mountains felt like standing in the middle of a postcard. I can truly recommend this hike to anyone looking for a mix of adventure, scenic beauty, and one of the most photogenic spots in Switzerland.     Geheimtipp! Mit dem Bus von Schwanden bis zur Seilbahnstation Kies fahren und zurück. Am Däniberg parken. https://sernftalbus.ch/de/standorte/mettmenalp/buslinie-544-bau.html Die Wanderung ist landschaftlich sehr schön und erlebnisreich. Beeindruckend die Chärpfbrugg, eine natürliche Brücke, unter welcher der Bach durchfließt.

    Diese Bergtour kann gut mit dem Bike oder E-Bike kombiniert werden, das Bike sollte jedoch der eher schwer befahrbaren, oberen Alpstrasse (Karrenweg zur Alp Sässli), WS/ZS, genügen. Bei dieser Bergtour befindet man sich ausschließlich auf gut markierten Wanderwegen, die außer dem Aufstieg zum Spitzmeilen, praktisch für jeden Wanderer geeignet ist. Der Aufstieg auf den Gipfel vom Spitzmeilen, sollten jedoch nur erfahrene Bergwanderer angehen. Die Gegend rund um den Spitz- und Wissmeilen sind im Sommer oder Winter immer für eine schöne Wanderung gut, sei es auf Wanderschuhen, Schneeschuhen oder Tourenskis. Viele Grüße Erich Walt

    Schöne einsame Eingewöhnungstour an die hohen Bröselgipfel :) Der Weg rauf ist etwas mühsam, der Weg runter dafür umso leichter (immer wieder kann man fast ein Stück "abfahren"). Ich habe das Rad an der Segneshütte stehen lassen und so einen Rundweg um die untere Ebene gehabt und den Wasserfall noch von näher betrachtet.

    Hammer Wanderung. Am besten am morgen früh die Wanderung anfangen und Badehosen unbedingt mitnehmen. Wir haben das Auto in Schwanden parkiert und mit dem Bus bis zum Gondel Station Mettmen abgefahren. Die Wanderung haben wir dort sofort hinter dem Hotel Mettmen angefangen und sie hat mehr als 7. 30h, über 20 km lang, bis zurück zu Elm gedauert. Eine ziemlich anspruchsvolle Wanderung. Der höchste Punkt der Wanderung ist Wildmadfurggeli 2290m. Die wundervolle Natur in den Gegend ist einfach atemberaubend. Kanton Glarus hat eine Menge anzubieten. Wir werden sicherlich wieder nach Glarus zurückkehren. Wir haben diesen wunderbaren Kanton ins Herzen geschlossen. ❤️🤗👍

    Die Tour ist toll. Einzig sollte man klarstellen, dass dem Gebirge geschuldet, Wanderstöcke empfehlenswert sind und dass bis zum Restaurant Bischofalp keine Toilette verfügbar ist (vor Tourantritt in der Skihütte Obererbs?) Achtung, letzte Talfahrt 1700! Wer Panorama bewundern will, empfehlenswerten Naturtee in der grossen Tasse im Restaurant trinken oder nicht ganz trittsicher ist, sollte 1 Stunde mehr einrechnen. Toiletten gibt es auch unter der Skiliftstation bei der Bischofalp.

    Super schöne Wanderung in herrlicher Natur und nicht zu steilen Wegen, welche gut zu laufen sind. Wir haben die Wanderung noch über die Niedere Mettmen-Alp, die Kärpfbrücke und die Matzlenfurggelen ausgeweitet und hatten so ca. 8 km. Als erfrischender Abschluss folgte ein Bad im See, welches auf jeden Fall eingeplant werden sollte.
