Walked November 2021. After leaving the village along a fairly level concrete track (on which you return) the route takes you up into the pine forest along a well used stoney track lined with fragrant wild herbs. Quite a tough section uphill to the forestry water tank where it levels out a bit before reaching the lime kilns. As you start to descend well worth a short detour up onto the limestone ridge to take in the views up and down the valley. After some steep, stoney downhill sections you reach the recreation area near the shrine and then walk the delightful narrow path alongside the river taking in avocado and orange groves and small vegetable plots before reaching the road which takes you back into the village. Thanks Francisco for adding this walk which we enjoyed.
