    A nice hike; the first 7 or 8km just follow the wide dirt track, which isn’t the most exciting hiking, but the scenery is spectacular and makes up for it. Only saw one place where the route wasn’t followable, where it would’ve followed a little path instead of the dirt track. It looks like they may be building something there, so likely to stay that way—but the dirt track goes in exactly the same direction and joins up the marked route in a few minutes. Towards the end there is a short, easy and fun scramble up some rocks and then a descent over a lunar-feeling landscape, both of which are more interesting walking. Didn’t love having to cross the roundabouts near the end, but they are pretty quiet and there are wide shoulders to walk on, so it was fine.
