First, follow the towpath along the Oude Rijn to Fort De Schans. Cross the railroad tracks over the dike and head down into the polder.

Beautiful route through the polder from Bodegraven to Nieuwerbrug. From Nieuwerbrug to Bodegraven you walk along the river Rhine.
