    Bei Hitze hat es diese Etappe in sich. Wir haben ab dem Tiroler Kreuz den Bus bis zum Sessellift in Dorf Tirol genommen und sind anschließend entspannt mit toller Aussicht nach Meran geschwebt. Der Anstieg von Lana nach Völlan fordert nochmals einige Schweißtropfen. Auch für diesen Abschnitt gibt es eine Alternative mit dem Bus.

    Schöne aussichtsvolle Touren. Die Kilometeranzahlen stimmen aber nicht unbedingt. Teilweise ~5km mehr einplanen. Nicht alles begehbar gewesen, wegen Wetter oder Baumaßnahmen. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

    Die Abschnitte zu Beginn und am Ende auf dem Waalweg fanden wir klasse, alleine schon aufgrund der tollen Aussichten. Der Mittelteil war tendenziell etwas breiter und bot nicht ganz so viele Blicke wie auf dem Waalweg. Trotzdem eine sehr schöne Tour!

    Den Romedius-Pilgerweg bin ich inzwischen dreimal gegangen: 2017 und 2018 jeweils allein und nun im September 2026 ein weiteres Mal mit zwei Freundinnen. Der Weg ist für mich eine gut machbare, aber durchaus anspruchsvolle Tour. Gute Kondition, Trittsicherheit und alpine Erfahrung sollte man mitbringen. Besonders gefällt mir die Streckenführung. Viele Abschnitte verlaufen auf alten Wegen. Auf solchen Pfaden zu gehen, gibt dem Weg für mich einen besonderen Charakter. Auch die Querungen von Innsbruck und Meran sind durchdacht und fügen sich stimmig ein. Der Weg ist gut markiert, GPS kaum gebraucht. Die Übernachtungen habe ich bei allen Touren im Voraus gebucht. Der Romedius-Pilgerweg verbindet für mich auf besondere Weise Natur, alpine Landschaft, Geschichte und das eigentliche Pilgern. Vielen Dank an die zwei Wegbereiter für diesen schönen Weg und für all die Arbeit, die dahintersteckt. Weitere Infos bei den einzelnen Etappen.

    Von Füssen nach Glurns in Südtirol ist die Strecke fantastisch. Abwechslungsreich, tolle Wegeführung, wenig los, gute Beschilderung. Ab Glurns gehts auf dem Etschradweg weiter. Maximal langweilig bis Meran, richtige Radwegautobahn entlang der großen Straße mit Straßenlärm. Ab Meran dann maxinal monoton durch unendlich viele industriell bewirtschaftete Apfelfelder. Ab Glurns gab es nicht ein einziges Schild zur Via Augusta. Ab Bozen haben sind wir dann abgewichen und sind durchs Valsugana gefahren.

    Die Runde ist außerordentlich abwechslungsreich, alle 5 Minuten war ein neues Panorama zu sehen. Zahlreiche Bäche, Seen, Ziegen, Kühe und sogar Pferde haben das Erlebnis weiterhin bereichert. Die Wege sind in sehr gutem Zustand und in weiten Teilen mit großen Granitblöcken ausgelegt, das fördert die Geschwindigkeit und sorgt für schnellen und einfachen Abstieg, sofern man die Runde wie Wir in die Gegenrichtung läuft. Wie haben mit Einkehr, Pausen und über 300 Fotos die angegebenen 7h gebraucht, reine Bewegungszeit +-4:15.

    Wunderschöne Rundwanderung, die aber an einigen Stellen Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit benötigt. Auch wer unter Höhenangst leidet, sollte sich gut überlegen, ob das für ihn das Richtige ist. Abwechslungsreiches Gelände mit z. T. anspruchsvolleren Anstiegen, aber durchaus machbar. Jede einzelne Alm hat ihren eigenen Charm und lädt zu einer gemütlichen Rast ein. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Tag und haben die Tour genossen.

    Wunderschöne Wanderung mit abwechslungsreicher Landschaft. Uns hat insbesondere der Aufstieg und die Latschinger-Alm besonders gut gefallen. Der Aufstieg fiel uns dann doch leichter als erwartet, obwohl es über etwa 2,5 Std. kaum ein ebenes Stück gab. Eine lohnenswerte Tour, welche Kondition voraussetzt.
