The region is known for its impressive natural scenery with forests, mountains and rivers. The historic buildings as well as the rich cultural heritage also make Wolfratshausen a popular destination for tourists from all over the world.

Sights relevant to tourism include the Wolfratshausen town museum or also the Benediktbeuern monastery courtyard - a former monastery with baroque architecture. Those who like to be active can go on a hike through the idyllic surroundings or take a bike tour along the Isar cycle path.

Cultural highlights are also plentiful: From concerts to theatre performances, everything is on offer here. The numerous festivals, such as the traditional Old Town Festival or the Christmas market in winter, are also highly recommended.

For culinary delights, local specialities such as Bavarian beer and hearty dishes like pork knuckle or Kaiserschmarrn are available. Many restaurants serve these delicacies freshly prepared - a real highlight for every gourmet!

Even if the weather is bad, you don't have to miss out on activities: An alternative would be a visit to the Isarwelle leisure pool, for example. Here you will find various attractions such as water slides, saunas and wellness offers.

In summer, Wolfratshausen is at its best: then you can enjoy nature to the fullest and get some exercise in the fresh air. But the region also has its own special charm in winter - especially when it snows and everything is bathed in a magical white.

Summary: Wolfratshausen, Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen is definitely worth a trip! Whether cultural highlights, active leisure options or culinary delights - everyone will find the right offer for an unforgettable stay here.
