Discover the region

Geographically, Wilhelmsdorf is located between the cities of Ravensburg and Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance. The region is known for its picturesque landscape with rolling hills, green forests and idyllic lakes.

The town itself has many tourist attractions to offer. Wolfegg Castle, for example, is an impressive 18th-century baroque palace with magnificent gardens and an extensive collection of historical objects. Art lovers should visit the Museum Art Plus, which houses a fascinating collection of contemporary works of art.

Cultural highlights can also be discovered in the area surrounding Wilhelmsdorf. Ravensburg is home to the famous Spieleland and the Ravensburg Art Museum with exhibitions of modern works of art. Those who prefer to be active can explore nature on the many hiking or cycling trails around the town.

Wilhelmsdorf also has a lot to offer in terms of culinary delights: be sure to try regional specialities such as Kässpätzle or Maultaschen! A good way to do this is by visiting the traditional farmers' market every Friday morning on the village square of Wilhelmsdorf.

In summer, outdoor activities such as swimming in the nearby lake or hiking in the mountains can be enjoyed. In winter, the Hündle ski area is just a short drive away.

If it should rain, we recommend a visit to Zeil Castle or the Linse cultural centre in Ravensburg for a cultural experience.

Overall, Wilhelmsdorf is definitely worth a visit and offers something for everyone. The breathtaking natural scenery paired with the numerous sights make this destination an unforgettable experience.
