Vöhringen is known for its picturesque hiking and cycling trails as well as its historic buildings, including Vöhringen Castle from the 18th century. Also visit the town church of St. Martin or stroll through the historic market square with its half-timbered houses.

Cultural highlights can also be found here: The annual summer festival offers a colourful programme with music, dance and culinary delicacies from the region. In winter, you can admire traditional handicrafts and enjoy mulled wine at the Christmas market.

For gourmets, there are numerous opportunities to try local specialities such as Maultaschen or Spätzle - to go with them, we recommend a good wine from the nearby wine region of Baden-Württemberg.

Outdoors, adventure-seekers can let off steam by climbing in the high ropes course or take a canoe trip on the Neckar River - especially beautiful in springtime when nature awakens! For families, excursions to the "Talhof" animal park or the Tripsdrill adventure park are great options.

But what to do if it rains? Don't worry: Vöhringen also has indoor activities such as the "Aquasol" swimming pool or the "Exitgames" Escape Room. A visit to the Museum of Town History is also recommended.

Where is it most beautiful? We recommend a walk along the Neckar River, which flows through the city and is lined with green meadows. Here you can enjoy nature and at the same time experience the historical flair of Vöhringen.

Overall, Vöhringen is a destination that is definitely worth a trip - whether as a day trip or a longer stay. With this travel guide, you now have all the important information at hand to make the most of your time here!
