Tonauturm Round

Continuing on this path, we reach a crossroads where we choose the left path. This path takes us to another intersection where we keep right onto Rotenbühlweg. From here, we have a beautiful view of the Plettenberg. On the left side, we reach a footpath, which we follow until we reach a gravel path.

Here we turn right and hike towards the Tonauturm. The path leads us further to a large intersection where we choose the path to the right, which leads us uphill. Those who want to enjoy a magnificent view over Vöhringen, the Black Forest, the Kleine Heuberg, and the Swabian Alb, decide at this point to follow the signs to the Tonauturm.

This path then leads us back towards Heiligenzimmern. On the edge of the path is a small wildlife pond with benches where the hiker just walks past. At the next crossroads, we turn sharply right. We follow this path until we reach a crosspath. Here we turn right and follow it for about 20 meters before turning right again. We follow this path straight until the forest ends, without leaving it again. From a distance, you can already see the shelter with a barbecue area where the hiker can take a short break. From here you have a wonderful view of the Stunzachtal.

After the shelter, we choose the path to the right, which leads us towards the cemetery. Below the cemetery begins Weiherweg, which leads us back to our starting point and thus to the car at its end.
