Discover the region

Situated in the middle of the picturesque landscape of the Hohenloher Land, Untermünkheim is a municipality in the north-east of Baden-Württemberg. The region is characterised by rolling hills, wide fields and green meadows.

For visitors, Untermünkheim offers numerous tourist attractions such as Untergröningen Castle or the historic old town of Schwäbisch Hall. Cultural highlights such as the open-air theatre "Haller Globe" or the Museum Würth also attract many guests every year.

Culinary delights are also on offer in the region: From hearty Swabian specialities to international delicacies, you will find everything your heart desires here. A special highlight are the regional wines, which are grown on the surrounding vineyards.

The nature around Untermünkheim invites you to go hiking and cycling. Especially in spring and summer, the landscape blossoms in full splendour. But also in autumn and winter you can go hiking or skiing at the nearby ski slope Langenburg-Hochholz.

If it should rain, there are numerous museums and indoor activities such as climbing parks or thermal baths in the surrounding area.

Untermünkheim is particularly beautiful at the time of the annual autumn festival, which is celebrated with traditional parades and folk music.

Untermünkheim, district of Schwäbisch Hall, is definitely worth a visit and offers something for every taste. A travel guide of a special kind!
