Geographically, Üxheim is located in the picturesque Eifel region and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The region is characterised by its volcanic past and impresses with numerous lakes, rivers and forests.

There are many tourist attractions: visit the Lissingen castle ruins or the Himmerod monastery - both offer a fascinating history and magnificent views of the surrounding area. Another highlight is the Strohn Volcano House, where you can learn more about the geological history of the formation of this unique region.

Cultural highlights can also be discovered: The annual castle festival at Kerpen Castle attracts many visitors and shows medieval life up close. In the summer months, concerts are held outdoors - perfect for music lovers!

For culinary delights, be sure to try local specialities such as Döppekooche (a type of potato pancake) or beef roulades. Schnapps tastings at local distilleries are also offered.

Outdoor activities are a must here! Hike through the Nordeifel Nature Park or take a bike tour along the Kylltal Cycle Path along the Kyll River. In winter, you can even go skiing or ice skating.

Even when the weather is bad, there is still plenty to do in Üxheim. Visit the Eifel Volcano Museum or relax at the thermal baths in Bad Bertrich.

The most beautiful thing about Üxheim, however, is the unspoilt nature and tranquillity that you can enjoy here. A walk through the forest or a picnic by the lake are simply priceless!

Üxheim, Vulkaneifel district is definitely worth a visit! Discover this enchanting region for yourself and experience an unforgettable stay.
