Discover the region

Taunusstein is known for its beautiful hiking trails that wind through green forests and gentle hills. Particularly recommended are the Panoramaweg and the Rheinsteig, which offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Those who prefer something faster can also go on mountain bike tours or visit the climbing forest.

Taunusstein also has a lot to offer culturally. Freudenberg Castle houses interactive exhibitions on the subject of sensory perception and invites you to discover new things through play. The town library, on the other hand, attracts visitors with regular readings and lectures.

For culinary connoisseurs, there are numerous restaurants and cafés with regional specialities such as Handkäs' mit Musik (cheese with music) or apple wine from the region.

Special events take place in Taunusstein all year round - from the traditional wine festival to the winter market around Christmas, there is something for everyone.

And what to do if the weather is bad? Don't worry! Even then there are plenty of options: A visit to the indoor swimming pool will cool you down on hot days or you can settle down at the cinema.

In conclusion, whether you are a nature lover, culture enthusiast or bon vivant - Taunusstein is definitely worth a visit and a perfect destination for a relaxing holiday.

Tour anders Herrum gemacht. Mein Video dazu: https://youtu.be/3B5HHh5IXh0

Inklusive Pausen 6:30 Stunden.
