There are many tourist attractions to discover in Starnberg. Particularly worth seeing are the Possenhofen castle complex and the museum of the town of Starnberg. A walk through the spa gardens or a boat trip on the lake are also always worthwhile.

For those interested in culture, the district also offers some highlights: The baroque Nymphenburg Palace in Munich or the Residenz in Würzburg are just two examples of the many cultural attractions in the area.

Another highlight of the district is its culinary specialities. Be sure to try the famous Bavarian Leberkäse or enjoy a fresh beer in a traditional beer garden!

Outdoor activities are not neglected here either: whether hiking, cycling or water sports - there is something for everyone! The best seasons for these activities are spring and summer. Of course, the most beautiful is directly on the lakeshore or on a hiking trail through the mountains.

And what to do in bad weather? No problem! In Starnberg you will also find numerous indoor activities such as visits to museums or shopping tours through small boutiques and antique shops.

In summary, the district of Starnberg is a destination that is definitely worth a trip. Whether cultural highlights, culinary delights or outdoor activities - everyone will find something to their taste here! So pack your suitcase and set off for this dreamlike region of Germany. Our travel guide will accompany you with lots of useful tips and information!

Was soll der Quatsch?
