Maps and trails
Geographically, Rammingen is located near Augsburg and Memmingen, surrounded by rolling hills and green meadows. The landscape is characterised by small villages with traditional farms and churches as well as numerous lakes and rivers.

The tourist attractions include above all Neuschwanstein Castle as well as Linderhof Castle - two magnificent 19th century castles built by the famous King Ludwig II. The historic old town of Memmingen is also worth a visit: here you will find well-preserved half-timbered houses from different eras as well as cosy cafés and restaurants.

Cultural highlights also abound: the Ulm Theatre or the Schwabach City Museum offer exciting insights into the art and cultural history of the region. Those who like to attend open-air concerts should not miss the summer festivals such as the "Rammenauer Musiksommer".

Culinary Rammingen also has a lot to offer: From hearty dishes such as pork knuckle or Maultaschen to fine cheese specialities and sweet treats such as apple strudel or Bienenstich - here every gourmet gets his money's worth.

The best outdoor activities can be enjoyed in Rammingen, especially in spring and summer: whether hiking, cycling, swimming or fishing - the region offers numerous opportunities for active holidaymakers. A hike through the nearby "Allgäuer Hochalpen" nature reserve is particularly recommended, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Even when the weather is bad, you don't have to miss out on activities in Rammingen: The Bad Wörishofen thermal baths invite you to relax, while museum visits or cooking classes provide variety.

Where is the most beautiful in Rammingen? It's hard to say, because every corner of the village has its own charm. However, the small lakes around the village and the view from one of the hills over the Allgäu are particularly idyllic.

Overall, Rammingen is definitely worth a trip - whether as a city or nature holiday. Our Travel Guide will give you more useful tips for your stay!
