    Sehr abwechslungsreiche Route aber mit manchmal langwierigen Passagen in waldigem Gelände neben der Wertach. Übernachtung im "Kurhotel Kaiser" (eBike-freundlich, günstig) in Bad Wörishofen nach 92 km, am nächsten Tag die restliche Strecke.

    Nachdem diese Wanderung in meiner Liste der Touren mit öffentlicher 'Anreise im Allgäu (Sommertouren mit Bahn und Bus im Allgäu) angeführt ist, muss ich schon zum Punkt Anreise ergänzen, dass sie sehr gut mit der Bahn erreichbar ist mit den Bahnhöfen Kaufbeuren an der Strecke München - Buchloe - Kempten/Füssen und Bad Wörishofen mit der Stichbahn nach Türkheim an der Strecke Buchloe - Memmingen. Die Etappe 2 der Wiesengängerroute ist sehr gut beschildert. Wer sie, wie ich, bei Neuschnee geht, ist mit der Spurarbeit gut gefordert. Viel ärger aber war die gefühlte Kälte unter -10 Grad auf der langen, dem Eiswind ausgesetzten Strecke bei Baisweil bis Großried.

    Ein schöner Fernradweg, meistens entlang der Wertach auf Kies- und Schotterwegen. Ich habe mich auf der Tour von der App navigieren lassen, sonst wäre ich ein paar mal falsch gefahren. Aber so hieß es: "Sie verlassen die Route, die Route liegt 20m hinter Ihnen." Also zurück und die richtige Abzweigung nehmen. Angenehm war bei dem warmen Wetter die Fahrt durch die schattigen Auwälder.

    Sehr schöne Tour auf leichten Wegen. Wem die Strecke zu lang wird, der lässt kurz vor Irsee den Umweg ums Schwarze Kreuz weg. Dieser Abschnitt führt nur durch Wald, ohne Aussichten oder andere Besonderheiten. In Irsee empfiehlt sich ein kurzer Stopp im Gasthof 3 Nelken (An der Kreuzung den Abzweig des Wanderwegs nach links kurz ignorieren und weiter geradeaus laufen. Dann sieht man den Gasthof mit Biergarten schon. Wir hatten sehr leckere Kraftbrühe mit Brät)
