Geographically, Pfaffing lies between Lake Chiemsee and the Alps, making it an ideal base for outdoor activities. The landscape is characterised by green meadows, dense forests and rolling hills - a paradise for hikers and cyclists.

The town itself has a rich history with many cultural highlights. Visit the St.Johannes Church from the 15th century or Pfaffing Castle with its impressive Renaissance style.

When it comes to culinary specialities, you should definitely try the regional specialities such as Weißwürste (white sausages) or Brezen (pretzels) - which go perfectly with a cool beer from the region!

For rainy days, we recommend a visit to the Rosenheim Museum Quarter or a tour of the nearby town of Wasserburg am Inn with its picturesque alleys and historic buildings.

In summer, you can look forward to a refreshing swim in Lake Chiemsee or relax on a boat trip. In winter, skiing on the nearby slopes is a great option, as are leisurely walks in snow-covered nature.

    Sehr schöner Weg. Ich gab mal einen Stern weniger (4/5) als Motivation die Routenführung in Outdooractive umzudrehen. Es ist der Isar --> Inn Radweg und auch alle Beschreibungen beginnen in München an der Isar, so sollte die Route in der Planung dem Prinzip folgen. Sonst sagt die Navigationsstimme für die gesamt Fahrzeit "Du fährst in die falsche Richtung".

    Prinzipiell sehr schöne Tour. Allerdings war von der Römerstraße Edling-Pfaffing und dem Keltischen Viereckhof Fürholzen nichts mehr zu sehen. Beide Stichstraßen waren am Ende total zugewuchert und sind deshalb angesichts der Zeckengefahr nicht zu empfehlen. Wir haben die Tour in Pfaffing begonnen. Dort auch gute Einkehrmöglichkeiten!
