One of the best-known sights in Pasewalk is the historic town gate from the 15th century, which is considered one of the few preserved gates of its kind in Germany. The castle with its Renaissance garden and the Gothic Church of Our Lady are also definitely worth a visit.
Cultural highlights can be found above all in the "Alte Kaffeerösterei" museum, where you can learn all about coffee growing, or in the "Uecker-Randow" theatre, which has a regularly changing programme for young and old.
Every year, the town festival also attracts numerous visitors to Pasewalk, where there are not only music acts but also many culinary delights - such as fish rolls fresh from the Baltic Sea or hearty game meat directly from the local forests.
For outdoor fans, hiking tours through the Uckermark Lakes Nature Park or bicycle tours along the Randow River all the way to the Polish border are particularly appealing. In winter, we recommend a sleigh ride or a snow hike through the snow-covered forests.
But even in rainy weather, there are a few options in Pasewalk: How about a visit to the indoor swimming pool "Aquapark" or a round of bowling at the leisure centre?
All in all, Pasewalk is definitely worth a visit, especially for those who are looking for peace and quiet and are enthusiastic about history and nature. The town offers many activities and sights all year round - whether outdoors in nature or indoors at cultural events. Come by and discover for yourself where it is most beautiful!
