    Wir waren zu zweit im Spätsommer 2026 im Haus Ronja mit unseren Retriever für eine Woche im schönen Hunsrück. Sehr schönes liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit Blick über das Tal von der Terrasse. Unsere kleine Familie hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt und die Ausstattung insbesondere für unseren Hund genossen. Wir konnten von den Haus aus den Zauberwald direkt durchwandern. Unten konnte der Hund im See schwimmen.

    Abwechslung hat der Weg auf jeden Fall zu bieten. schöne Aussichten , teilweise schöne Wälder, nette Ideen am Wegestand. Sehr schöne Rastmöglichkeiten. Die Markierung ist teilweise dürftig, Unbedingt Karte oder App mitnehmen. Teile des Weges sind durch Wasserfabrik und Straßen recht laut.     Ich bin den Rundweg vor einigen Jahren mit meinem "neuen" E-Bike gefahren. Den Abstecher zum Erbeskopf unbedingt mitnehmen und auch die Wildenburg besuchen. Mein Tipp: genug Strom mitnehmen es sind doch viele Höhenmeter zu schaffen. Und auch Getränke und Verpflegung kann nicht schaden. Leider waren unterwegs verschiedene Ladestationen nicht in Betrieb und mit Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist es auch nicht so gut bestellt. Inzwischen habe ich die Tour in zwei Teile aufgeteilt, da sich die Strecke bei Börfunk/Abentheuer fast trifft und bin nun schon mehrmals diese kleine Runde zwischen Nonnweiler und Börfink und die große Runde zwischen Börfink und Kempfeld/Mörschied schon mehrmals gefahren. Ein wirkliches Erlebnis.

    Landschaftlich äußerst reizvolle und abwechslungsreiche Tour mit tollen Aussichten, viel Wald und Wildblumenwiesen. Mehrere schöne Rastmöglichkeiten. Wie bereits unten angemerkt, ist die Strecke bis auf wenige Kilometer gut befahrbar. Wir sind am Sportplatz Leisel gestartet und im Uhrzeigersinn geradelt. Damit hatten wir den schlechtesten Wegabschnitt - tlw. sehr holprig und grober Schotter, heute aber zumindest trocken - gleich zu Beginn. Hier muss man wirklich aufpassen! Nach ca. 6 km läuft's dann richtig gut. In Birkenfeld ist die Hälfte der Strecke gemeistert, hier bietet sich eine längere Pause an. Im weiteren Verlauf lohnt der kurze Abstecher zum Turm in Hattgenstein, ein Halt an der Kirche in Heiligenbösch und die Götterallee!

    Uns hat der Weg sehr gut gefallen. Besonders die riesige Bank und der Blick vom Turm. Allerdings sind wir die Strecke gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gelaufen, was für die Kinder besser war, weil die Höhepunkte am Schluss kommen.

    Wunderschöne abwechslungsreiche Rundtour. Wir haben uns Zeit genommen und die Radtour an zwei Tagen mit einer Zwischenübernachtung in Birkenfeld gemacht. Es gibt viel zu entdecken, auch etwas abseits der Strecke (Erbeskopf-Gipfel, Primstalsperre in Nonnweiler, Nationalparkkirche in Muhl, Kirche Heiligenbösch, Aussichtsturm Hattgenstein ...). Mit E-Bikes sind die vielen Höhenmeter gut zu schaffen. Die Wegbeschaffenheit ist weitgehend gut, allerdings gibt es auch ein paar Schotterabschnitte auf denen besondere Achtsamkeit erforderlich ist. Wir kamen insgesamt auf 110 km. Wie schon unten erwähnt, gibt es unterwegs kaum Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Unbedingt ausreichend Verpflegung mitnehmen!

    Ist schon etwas länger her dass wir dort waren, schau mir gerade die Bilder von damals an, wir hatten alle viel Spaß auf diesem Weg, besonders meine drei Jungs, wenn der Weg immer noch so toll ist wie damals kann man ihn Familien nur empfehlen, man kann dort eine schöne Zeit verbringen, am besten etwas zum Picknick mitbringen, als wir dort waren gab es unterwegs nichts zum einkehren
