A varied route that certainly does not have 1000 meters of ascent. This result is simply a fluctuation of the altimeter.

Discover the region

Geographically, the village lies on the edge of the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park and is surrounded by rolling hills and dense forests. The region is known for its picturesque landscapes, which are perfect for hiking or cycling. Hikes on the Albsteig Trail or along the Kochertal Cycle Path are particularly recommended.

For cultural highlights, a visit to the 12th century St. Vitus Church or the local history museum in the historic town hall is worthwhile. The annual wine festival in September also attracts many visitors.

Culinary Michelfeld has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the regional specialities such as Maultaschen, Spätzle or Käsespätzle as well as the excellent wine from the nearby vineyards.

If the weather is bad, you can take a trip to the Aquafun leisure pool or stop by the Schönenberg alpaca farm - here you can experience these cute animals up close!

It is especially beautiful in Michelfeld in spring when everything turns green and the flowers bloom, but nature also beckons in summer with warm sunshine and many outdoor activities. In autumn, the grape harvest season and the wine festival are a highlight, while in winter the nearby ski lift invites you to enjoy winter sports.

All in all, Michelfeld is definitely worth a trip for all nature lovers, culture enthusiasts and gourmets. Let yourself be enchanted by this charming village and discover its many facets - our Travel Guide will be happy to assist you!
