    Schöne Etappe die sich sehr gut laufen lässt. Unbedingt den kleinen Abstecher zum Friedenskreuz und dem Wachturm machen (sind nur 200 m). Hat mir jedenfalls besser gefallen als der nach einem kleinen giftigen Anstieg erreichte Skulpturenpark. Nachdem ich erst dachte der Weg auf der Bayerischen Seite sei besser gekennzeichnet, hab ich mich direkt verlaufen. Na ja, war nicht schlimm. Die Kirche in Eussenhausen ist sehr schön und ich hab dort auch nen schönes Päuschen gemach. Den Pilgerstempel bekommt man in Mellrichstadt in der Information (sehr nettes Personal).

    Sehr schöne Etappe. Es geht lange durch den Wald, Rastmöglichkeiten gibt es lange Zeit keine, nichtmal ne Bank irgendwo. Das ändert sich erst vor Wallbach. In Wallbach einen Abstecher zur beeindruckenden Fachwerkkirche machen und im nächsten Ort Walldorf zur Kirchenburg hochgehen - ist nur ein Umweg von wenigen Metern und lohnt sich echt. Dann geht es im Tal weiter nach Meiningen. Stempel gibt's bei den netten Damen in der Touristen Info.

    Für uns als Trailläufer eine der schönsten Extratouren der Rhön! Viel Aussicht, schöne Waldabschnitte und Trails und auch viele Bänke die zur Rast einladen. Vor allem sehr ruhig, da die Tour fernab von Autobahn und vielbefahrener Bundesstraßen ist - im Gegensatz zu so manch anderer der Extratouren. Gerne wieder!

    Ich hab den Weg nicht ganz gemacht, sondern nur so gelaufen, dass ich die 3 Stempel einsammeln kann. Zuerst bin ich beim Skulpturenpark gestartet und bis zum Rastplatz am Buchenkopf gelaufen. Hier drangen dann laute Geräusche von Baumfällarbeiten aus dem Wald, in den der Weg geführt hätte. Ob der Friedensweg betroffen war/ist kann ich nicht sagen, denn ich bin wieder zurück zum Parkplatz. Zu diesen Abschnitt muss ich noch sagen, dass hier unbedingt wasserdichte Schuhe empfehlenswert sind, da der Weg viel über Wiesen verläuft. Nicht so toll fand ich, dass der Weg teilweise mit Gülle besprenkelt war... Die zweite Runde auf dem Friedensweg hab ich von dem kleinen Wanderparkplatz "am Heftenhof" aus begonnen. Diesen Abschnitt fand ich etwas schöner (Schotter-/Kolonnenweg).

    Schöne, abwechslungsreiche Tour. Ich hab sie allerdings etwas abgewandelt um noch mehrere Touringen-Stempel mitzunehmen. So konnte ich alle Stempel vom Dr.-Malade-Weg, alle Stempel vom Gebaweg und noch 2 vom Milseburgweg in mein Heft stempeln. Ich hatte am Ende allerdings weit über 20 Kilometer auf meinem Fitnesstracker.

    Wir haben die Tour Ende März gemacht. Da war der vermutlich schöne Laubwald leider noch karg. Trotzdem ist der Meiniger eine schöne, abwechslungsreiche Tour mit Ausblick auf Meinigen. Die Tour ist gut beschildert.
