Touristically relevant are above all the two churches - St. Mary's Church from the 13th century and St. John's Church from the 15th century - as well as Marlow Castle, an impressive Baroque castle from the 18th century.
Cultural highlights include the annual jazz festival in the summer as well as various art exhibitions throughout the year. For culinary specialities, we recommend the fish market at the harbour or local specialities such as red fruit jelly with vanilla sauce or fried eel.
For outdoor activities, there are cycling tours along the river Peene or boat trips on the Baltic Sea (best in summer). In autumn you can also go mushroom picking or enjoy hiking in the forests around the town.
If it rains there is still plenty to do! For example, visit the local history museum for an exciting journey through the history of Marlow or relax with a coffee in a cosy café.
The best time to visit Marlow is definitely in summer, when the town comes to life the most and you can enjoy the picturesque surroundings in warm weather.
