Keltern is located in the north-west of the Enzkreis district in Baden-Württemberg and borders on the Black Forest. The municipality consists of eight districts with a total area of 28 km². There are numerous forests, rivers and lakes in the surrounding area - perfect for all nature lovers!

One of the tourist highlights is Ellmendingen Castle: The baroque building was erected around 1700 and today houses a museum on the history of the region. The St. Quirinus Chapel in Dietlingen, dating from 1785, or the Protestant church in Weiler are also worth seeing.

Culturally interested people should definitely visit the annual Keltern Street Festival - here the celebrations last for three days! Another highlight is the open-air festival "Rock am Wald", where well-known bands perform.

Keltern also has a lot to offer in the way of culinary delights: For example, try the famous Pforzheim onion tart or enjoy regional specialities such as Maultaschen or Spätzle.

For outdoor enthusiasts, hiking is the best option: The area around Keltern is criss-crossed by numerous hiking trails that lead through forests and along rivers. It is particularly beautiful in spring when nature awakens.

If you want to retreat indoors when the weather is bad, you can visit the "Badehaus" leisure pool in Keltern or take a trip to the Speyer Museum of Technology - there is a lot to discover here!

Overall, Keltern is a charming destination with a variety of sights and activities for every taste. A visit to Ellmendingen Castle and a hiking tour through the idyllic countryside are particularly recommended.
