The historic old town of Herrenberg is one of the main tourist highlights. Here you can stroll through narrow streets, admire old half-timbered houses and enjoy the view of Hohentübingen Castle. The collegiate church of St. Johannes is also worth a visit - it is considered one of the most beautiful Gothic churches in southern Germany.

Cultural events take place throughout the year, such as the annual summer theatre or the Christmas market spectacle in December. Herrenberg also has a lot to offer in the way of culinary delights: Be sure to try the regional specialities such as Maultaschen or Spätzle mit Soß!

For outdoor activities, there are numerous possibilities around Herrenberg. In spring and summer, hikes can be made on the Panorama Trail, while in winter skiing is possible in the nearby mountains. For mountain bike fans, there are also special routes to explore.

Even in rainy weather, no holidaymaker need be bored: The Museum of Art History has interesting exhibitions as well as works by contemporary artists.

Herrenberg is worth a trip at any time of year! Whether culturally interested, nature lovers or sports enthusiasts - everyone will find something to their taste here. Visit Herrenberg and experience the unique mix of history, culture and nature. This travel guide will help you get the most out of your stay!

Rundtour kann man es nicht wirklich nennen - eher "there and back again".
