Gomaringen is particularly well known for its historic old town with numerous 17th century half-timbered houses. A walk through the narrow alleys is definitely worthwhile. Hohenentringen Castle, which towers high above the town, is also worth a visit - from here you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding area.

Cultural highlights are also available: The "Alte Kelter" museum vividly shows the history of winegrowing in the region and the Lindenhof Theatre regularly presents exciting performances.

For culinary delights, traditional Swabian dishes such as Maultaschen or Spätzle as well as regional wines from the surrounding vineyards are available.

Those who like to be active can try out various sports in Gomaringen: Golfing on a nearby golf course or playing tennis on the excellently maintained local courts are just two examples.

If it ever rains, museum visits or a trip to the indoor swimming pool are a good option - there are plenty of leisure activities here too!

But the most beautiful thing is undoubtedly out in nature: a hike through the nearby Tübingen Bay, which is in full bloom in spring and summer, is particularly recommended. Autumn also offers an unforgettable spectacle of nature with its colourful hues.

Gomaringen is definitely worth a visit - whether as a day trip destination or a longer holiday domicile. A travel guide can help you get the most out of your stay!
