Schnupperwaldrunde

The starting point for the hike is the parking lot at the Buchbach recreational area. From there, go about 100 m on the paved road towards Gomaringen. Before the road bends to the right, a gravel road branches off to the left. Follow this path, which also leads to the Roßberg (blue triangle), through orchards into the forest. On the right side, you can admire the tipi of the forest kindergarten. The wide gravel road leads into a narrow path that runs about 700 m along the Erdmannbach to the Salach hiking parking lot. There, you can orient yourself again on the large overview board. You now leave the path to Roßberg and walk eastwards, slightly ascending on the beginning forest road. As soon as you reach this road, turn left and gently ascend with several bends to the mid-elevation in the forest. At the next junction, continue straight and follow the forest road downhill. A somewhat steeper descent follows. At the bottom, sharply turn left. Now you can already see on the long straight where the forest ends. At the forest edge on the left side is the Buchbach recreational area. From there, follow the paved road about 200 m and you have reached the parking lot at the recreational area.
