    Sehr schöne und angenehme Tour, schmale Pfade als auch breite Wege, insgesamt sehr gut begehbar, stellenweise sind die Wege wetterabhängig recht matschig. Für Hunde finden sich jetzt im Herbst mehrere kleine Bachläufe entlang der Strecke.

Im letzten Teil vor Oberreifenberg sind die Pfade den Hang hinab teilweise nicht mehr auffindbar oder für Wanderer gesperrt - da muss man über die alte Skipiste (Nordbahn) ausweichen und/oder einen anderen der (nur in openstreetmap erkennbaren) hangabwärts führenden Pfade nutzen. Weilquelle war Anfang Juli schon trocken.

    Abwechslungsreiche Strecke. Kleine Pfade, breite gemütliche Wanderwege, zeitweise alleine unterwegs - je näher man dem Feldberg kam umso mehr Wanderer traf man. Am Anfang etwas eng und matschig, am Ende wird man mit dem Skyline-Blick belohnt.

    Anspruchsvoll Diese Tour hat wirklich alles zu bieten. Sehr steile, steinige Auf- und Ab Strecken. Unterschiedlichstes Gelände. Am schönen Altkönig fehlt ein Stück Weg, dieser wurde beim Brand im letzten Jahr (2023) vernichtet, Aber man kann gut durch die verbrannten Baumstümpfe navigieren. Appropros navigieren. Ohen GPS ist man auf dieser Tour aufgeschmissen. Das sind keine ausgeschilderten Wege, sondern es geht auch mal quer durch. Durch die Weiße Mauer muss man sich durchwurschteln und so auch an anderen Ecken. Unbedingt volles Handy zur Navigation mitnehmen. Ansonsten hat uns es sehr gut gefallen, Es ist eine Trainingsrunde für unseren Alpen Urlaub gewesen und mit 900 Höhenmetern ist man hier schon ganz gut dabei.

    Die Tour verdient das Prädikat Schwer ... sehr knackige Anstiege und teilweise schwieriges Terrain, sodass man langsam und mit Bedacht gehen muss. Die GPS-Wegführung funktíoniert, die Pfade sind nicht immer leicht zu erkennen, aber mit ein wenig hin- und her funktioniert es. Vielleicht liegt es an den vielen gefällten Bäumen, aber es hat massig grandiose Aussichten auf dem gesamten Weg - durch die Bäume durch, natürlich auf den beiden Gipfeln ... es sind vielleicht 20% im dichten Wald, beim Rest kann man durchaus in die Weite sehen. Ich habe mit einer (längeren) Pause 6 Stunden gebraucht, die Parameter stimmen ansonsten, d.h. 910 HM rauf und runter. Auf dem Weg sind Sitzgelegenheiten Mangelware, d.h. man muss sich selbst behelfen ... geht aber alles. Es sind nicht nur Arbeitswege, sondern auch Pfade ... für mich eine passende Mischung, denn bei diesen Anstiegen braucht man auch einmal einige Minuten zum Luftholen. Alles in allem eine tolle Tour - danke dafür!
