The hike starts at the Landsgraben parking lot and leads exclusively through the forest on wide gravel roads. Although there are a few clearings here, compared to other areas in the Taunus you can still see a lot of green.
The path does have some elevation to overcome, but no really steep sections, so it is especially suitable in summer when it offers a welcome break from the city heat.
Unfortunately, there are hardly any visual highlights, but at two or three spots a cleared area allows a nice view, partly towards Frankfurt and its skyline.
