Tourist attractions include Schloss Fußberg, a beautiful baroque castle with impressive architecture and history, as well as the 18th century church of St. Benedikt with its magnificent interior.

Cultural highlights can be found at the Bosco-Gauting Cultural Centre, where concerts, theatre performances and exhibitions are held regularly. The Museum für Abgüsse Klassischer Bildwerke also displays an impressive collection of antique sculptures.

For outdoor activities, there are walks through Forstenrieder Park or along the Wörthsee lake. In summer, you can also go swimming or sailing here. In winter, the nearby Zugspitze is a tempting place to go skiing.

Special culinary delights include Weißwurst breakfasts and beer garden experiences in traditional inns such as the Bräustüberl Andechs or the Restaurant Fischerhaus on the lakeside of Lake Wörth.

Even when the weather is bad, there is plenty to do: a visit to the indoor swimming pool "Gautinger Aquapark" promises fun for the whole family.

And if you are looking for the most beautiful place in Gauting, we recommend a visit to Schloss Fußberg at sunset. The view of the surrounding countryside is simply breathtaking.

Overall, Gauting is definitely worth a trip and a perfect destination for anyone who appreciates nature, culture and culinary delights in equal measure. Our travel guide offers you lots of useful tips and information for your stay in this charming town in the Starnberg district - have fun discovering it!

Was soll der Quatsch?
