Forbach lies at the foot of the Black Forest and is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The region is known for its diverse outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling or skiing. In the summer months, you can look forward to refreshing swimming lakes and in winter, the nearby ski lift entices you to have fun on the slopes.

The town also has a lot to offer culturally: Visit the St. Laurentius Church from the 15th century or the local history museum with its interesting exhibits on the history of the region. Another highlight are the numerous festivals and events such as the annual wine festival or the traditional farmers' market.

Forbach also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine: Be sure to try the famous "Black Forest Ham", a regional speciality, or enjoy fresh trout from the surrounding rivers.

If it should ever rain, we recommend a visit to the Bad Rotenfels spa - here you can relax and unwind.

A particularly beautiful spot in Forbach is the "Hochkopfturm" lookout point. From here you have an impressive view over the Black Forest all the way to the Rhine Valley.

Overall, Forbach is definitely worth a trip - whether for outdoor activities, cultural experiences or culinary delights. This travel guide gives you all the information you need to make the most of your stay.
