The geographical location of Dermbach is unique, as it is situated between the rivers Ulster and Felda. The hilly landscape around the town is ideal for hiking or cycling. One of the most famous sights in Dermbach is Berlepsch Castle, which dates back to the 12th century and is now used as a museum.

Cultural highlights are also plentiful: The local history museum shows the history of the region in an impressive way, while the town church with its beautiful frescoes gives an insight into religious art.

    Sehr schöner und abwechslungsreicher Weg. Gut ausgeschildert. Die Bewertung T2 teile ich nicht, die diese Kategorie definierende Absturzgefahr kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Die Saalehorizontale in Jena ist ein T2-Weg. Der Hochröhner (auf dieser mir bekannten Etappe) ist ein ganz gewöhnlicher T1 Wanderweg.

    Habe die Tour gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gemacht und hatte anfangs das längste Stück Teerstraße hinter mir, als ich dann endlich im herrlichen Laubwald ankam. Ein wirkliches Highlight auf der Strecke gab es nicht, außer den anfangs ruhigen Wald selbst und die 3 Touringen Stempelkästen. Später drang leider einiges an Lärm zum Wanderweg hoch. Die Strecke ist relativ gut ausgeschildert, außer im Bereich der Gartenanlage. Da könnte das ein oder andere zusätzliche Schild hilfreich sein. Sitzgelegenheiten sind ausreichend vorhanden, sowie ein Getränkeautomat bei der Emberghütte. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es hinter dem Schloss (wirklich ganz hinten - die anderen Parkplätze gehören zu Nahkauf und so). Oder man kann in die Runde auch bei der Emberghütte einsteigen. Dort ist auch ein ausreichend großer Wanderparkplatz vorhanden.

    wirklich hübscher kleiner Rundweg, man startet am Campingplatz (mit Spielplatz und in der Saison mit offenem Imbiss) und läuft rings um den Schönsee. Ist ne kurze Strecke, aber für die Lütten ist wahrscheinlich der Spielplatz eh interessanter 🤣
