Discover the region

Geographically, Braunsbach lies on the edge of the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park and is surrounded by rolling hills. Its location at the mouth of two rivers, the Kocher and its tributary Orlacher Bach, significantly shapes the landscape. Particularly worth seeing are the numerous half-timbered houses along the riverbanks and the historic old town with its narrow alleys and cosy squares.

For those interested in culture, there are several highlights to discover in Braunsbach: The local history museum in the former town hall vividly illustrates the history of the village and its inhabitants. The parish church of St. Martin also impresses with its baroque architecture as well as its ornate interior.

A special event for all music lovers is the annual music festival "Braun's Rock" in the summer - here local bands perform on various stages and ensure a rollicking atmosphere throughout the town.

Culinary Braunsbach also has a lot to offer: Be sure to try the traditional Swabian onion roast or enjoy a cup of coffee with homemade cake in one of the cosy cafés.

Especially in spring and summer, Braunsbach offers numerous opportunities for outdoor activities. Along the Kocher river there are beautiful cycling and hiking routes that lead through picturesque landscapes. Canoeing on the river is also a popular pastime.

If the weather doesn't cooperate, a visit to the indoor swimming pool or a round of miniature golf at the indoor facility is worthwhile.

But the most beautiful thing about Braunsbach is simply everywhere - whether it's a walk along the rivers or a cosy dinner in one of the restaurants: here you can still feel the charm of a small Swabian town that has a lot to offer its guests. A visit is definitely worth the trip!
