Geographically, Bodenbach is located at the foot of the Hochkelberg and surrounded by the picturesque hills of the Eifel. The region is characterised by its volcanic past, which has resulted in an impressive landscape: High mountains, deep valleys and crystal clear rivers characterise the image of this area.

There are numerous sights for tourists to discover here: Visit the castle ruins on the Hochkelberg, for example, or enjoy a walk through the historic town centre with its picturesque half-timbered houses. Another highlight is the Vulkanhaus Strohn - a museum all about volcanism.

Cultural highlights are also plentiful: Visit one of the many concerts in the Maria Martental monastery or stroll through the weekly market in Daun. Various art exhibitions are also held regularly.

In addition to cultural activities, Bodenbach also offers culinary delights. Be sure to try the regionally famous dishes such as Döppekooche (a type of potato pancake) or hearty stews with cuts of meat and sausages from the region.

Outdoor activities leave nothing to be desired: Hiking, cycling or canoeing - there is something here for everyone. The hikes through the Volcanic Eifel Nature Park are particularly beautiful, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the landscape.

Even when the weather is bad, there is plenty to do in Bodenbach: Visit the Eifel Volcano Museum in Daun or relax in the "Vita Therme" thermal baths. Here you will find pure rest and relaxation.

In summary, Bodenbach is a destination that is definitely worth a trip. With its numerous sights, culinary delights and outdoor activities, it offers something for everyone. Come by and experience for yourself why this town is so special!
