    Sehr naturverbundene Strecke durch viel Wald, ab und zu auch Wiesen. Die Aussicht war mir allerdings zu wenig, daher 1* weniger. Highlights wie die Talsperre NONNWEILER und der Keltische Ringwall OTZENHAUSEN sind auf jeden Fall sehenswert und auch die Steinerne Treppe machen die Tour wieder etwas kurzweiliger.

    Wir sind am Mitfahrerparkplatz gegenüber der Tankstelle in Neumühle im Uhrzeigersinn gestartet. So konnten wir kurz vor Schluss noch in Birkenfeld einkehren (zufällig war Weinfest). Abwechslungsreich, landschaftlich sehr schön, manchmal schöne Aussicht, mit E-Bike gut zu fahren trotz teilweise steilem Anstieg. Unterwegs geht es zeitweise über holprige Waldwege. Die Beschilderung ist vor allem in Birkenfeld nicht optimal. Danke für die Route.

    Ich bin den Rundweg vor einigen Jahren mit meinem "neuen" E-Bike gefahren. Den Abstecher zum Erbeskopf unbedingt mitnehmen und auch die Wildenburg besuchen. Mein Tipp: genug Strom mitnehmen es sind doch viele Höhenmeter zu schaffen. Und auch Getränke und Verpflegung kann nicht schaden. Leider waren unterwegs verschiedene Ladestationen nicht in Betrieb und mit Gastronomie und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist es auch nicht so gut bestellt. Inzwischen habe ich die Tour in zwei Teile aufgeteilt, da sich die Strecke bei Börfunk/Abentheuer fast trifft und bin nun schon mehrmals diese kleine Runde zwischen Nonnweiler und Börfink und die große Runde zwischen Börfink und Kempfeld/Mörschied schon mehrmals gefahren. Ein wirkliches Erlebnis.

    Wunderschöne abwechslungsreiche Rundtour. Wir haben uns Zeit genommen und die Radtour an zwei Tagen mit einer Zwischenübernachtung in Birkenfeld gemacht. Es gibt viel zu entdecken, auch etwas abseits der Strecke (Erbeskopf-Gipfel, Primstalsperre in Nonnweiler, Nationalparkkirche in Muhl, Kirche Heiligenbösch, Aussichtsturm Hattgenstein ...). Mit E-Bikes sind die vielen Höhenmeter gut zu schaffen. Die Wegbeschaffenheit ist weitgehend gut, allerdings gibt es auch ein paar Schotterabschnitte auf denen besondere Achtsamkeit erforderlich ist. Wir kamen insgesamt auf 110 km. Wie schon unten erwähnt, gibt es unterwegs kaum Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Unbedingt ausreichend Verpflegung mitnehmen!

    Eine tolle, ausgedehnte Tour rund um den Nationalpark. Mit meinem etwas betagten Trekking E-Bike (BJ 2013) kam ich sehr gut zurecht. Es geht meistens über Forstwege im Wald, gelegentlich Feldwege und eine handvoll wenig befahrene Landstraßen. Tipp: unbedingt den Gipfel des Erbeskopfs mit dseiner tollen Aussicht "mitnehmen", seltsamerweise spart ihn die Tour aus, obwohl nur 5-10 Minuten Umweg (zugegebenermaßen mit dem E-Bike - ohne Motor sollte die Steigung aber auch kein Problem sein, wenn man sowieso fit genug ist für eine 80km Radtour). Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil das gastronomische Angebot extrem dünn ist. Zwei bis drei Bäckereien, die erfreulicherweise geöffnet waren, und ebenso viele (geschlossene) Restaurants an einem Freitag im August, also während der Hochsaison, sind ziemlich dürftig. Sonntags ist man vermutlich komplett aufgeschmissen - am Besten also entweder was mitbringen oder Werktags im Rewe in Otzenhausen, nur wenige Fahrradminuten vom Nationalpark entfernt, einen Zwischenstopp vor oder während der Tour einplanen.

    Toller Steig. Sehr hoher Pfad- und Naturweg-Anteil. Geschickte Routenführung. Tolle Aussichten und viel Sehenswertes am Wegesrand. Lediglich vom Nattionalpark ansich war ich etwas enttäuscht, hier ging es zeitweilig recht lange über geradlinige Schotterwege. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveua ;-) Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren streckenweise etwas rar, das hat Improvisation erfordert. Ich freue mich schon auf die zweite Hälfte ab Idar-Oberstein bis an den Rhein...
