    Trotz einiger asphaltierter Streckenabschnitte ein schöne Runde, die meist der ausgeschilderten Pappelteich-Strecke folgt. Ich bin beileibe kein Pro und bin die Strecke in 1:46 h gefahren, die angegeben 2:45 h sind dann sehr gemütlich. ;-)

    Sehr schöne, fordernde Tour. Auf kleinen Segmenten technisch anspruchsvoll - solides MTB erforderlich, eher ungeeignet für XC bikes. Generell aber konditionell fordernd wegen des stetigen Wechsels von Anstiegen und Abstiegen. Insgesamt höchst empfehlenswert (ich habe 2h40' gebraucht).

    Bin die Strecke heute, am Sonntag, gefahren, jedoch in die verkehrte Richtung und habe bei Gruberau direkt nach Stangau abgekürzt. Dürften ca 400hm und 25km weniger gewesen sein. (Gesamt 56km) Hab in Pressbaum gestartet, der Teil bis Stangau, war landschaftlich sehr schön (teilweise fährt man mitten durch den Wald, dann neben Kuhweiden und Wiesen) und wirklich sehr wenig Verkehr, hin und wieder ein Auto oder Motorradfahrer aber eher selten. Ab Kaltenleutgeben und je mehr man richtig Wien kommt wird der Verkehr mehr und die Strecke ist nicht mehr so schön wie zu vor. Man fährt auf den stärker befahrenen Bundesstraßen. Insgesamt eine schöne Tour, bergauf bergab mit einigen lang gezogenen Strecken wo man gefahrlos auch schnell unterwegs sein kann. Je nachdem wo man die Tour beendet (und Jahreszeit) kann man sich im Wienerwaldsee noch kurz abkühlen. Einstieg befindet sich unmittelbar an der Strecke beim Staudamm.
