Excellent hike, with small steep ascents and descents and more than half of it you hike right on the mountain top. Quite exposed at times, highly weather dependent in my opinion. Hiking gear is a must.

Challenging walk, because the path up from Mooserboden is steep all the way, but definitely worth it for great views of the glaciers. The wildflowers were superb too (we went late June). We finished our descent back at Mooserboden, and then took bus down. The whole walk including lunch and photo breaks took us 3.5 h

Gorgeous views of the Zeller lake along much of this track. Until one gets to the highest point of the track it is technically not challenging. From there to Ponyhof Alm requires some technical skills as it is an actual MTB track. Should you find it too challenging, there's no shame in walking your bike down till you reach the alm. From there it's an easy descent back to Bruck.

We were with kids 6 and 8 years old, the trip is not difficult but the ferrata set is good to have. Really enjoyed wonderful view to the surroundings including Kaprun dams.
