The beautifully landscaped Schlossgarten of Schloss Esterházy is ideal for romantic walks or sporty walking and jogging rounds. During a walking round through the Schlossgarten, you can explore the well-kept landscape garden with an orangery and a small pond.

The scenically attractive Neusiedler See is located east of Eisenstadt and is often called the Vienna Sea due to its size. The bicycle is well suited for the circumnavigation of the Neusiedler See. Not far from the shore lies Purbach, where the hike through the Leitha Mountains to Eisenstadt begins. The hiking trail leads you through beautiful deciduous forest and vineyard landscapes, and you will pass some interesting sights.

North of Eisenstadt, a hike leads through the former monastery area. The route runs through old forests past historic monastery walls. At some points along the way, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Neusiedler See.
