    Ich war mit Gattin am 1.5.2026 in diesem Hotel als Radfahrer am Alpe-Adria Radweg. Für mich als Langstreckenradfahrer ist das Hotel perfekt. Neben dem schönen Zimmer, mit optimaler Einrichtung war auch das Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut und vielfältig. Die Fahrräder können im eigene Fahrradkeller untergebracht und E-Bikes aufgeladen werden. Bei vielen Rädern (Reisegruppe mit Bus+Rädern war da) an einem Tag, wie bei uns, steht auch außerhalb des Radkellers genug Abstellplatz zur Verfügung. Der Keller ist zugleich Auto-Tiefgarage und nach der Einfahrt für Berechtigte schließt das Tor selbständig, ohne das Fremde Zutritt haben. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Radweg und auch an der Hauptstraße und ist trotzdem bei Nacht ruhig.

    Achtung, sowohl Streckenkilometer als auch Höhenmeter stimmen hier nicht. Ich habe den Weg heute getrackt und es sind 22km und ca 1570hm (real gelaufen). Die Tour ist trotzdem an einem Tag machbar - wenn man genügend Ausdauer hat und wirklich früh los geht. Also nichts für Anfänger. Außerdem ist die Übernachtung auf dem Matrashaus auch etwas tolles.

    nonostante il tempo incerto, bella la discesa da Badhofgastain a Bischofhofen....poi treno fino a Salisburgo. Dall'ingresso in Baviera, il panorama è cambiato, addolcendosi, tanti, troppi pascoli a discapito dei boschi e aria che profuma sempre di fieno e mucche. Impegnative le ciclabili con continui saliscendi anche con pendenza oltre il 7% Arrivo a Bergen alle 15.00, quasi con inizio della pioggia.

    paesaggi alpini molto suggestivi, ma non è una tappa facile. I tratti in salita sono continui ed alcuni hanno pendenze che si fanno decisamente sentire sulle gambe. Richiede un buon allenamento se se hanno bici muscolari.. o buon fiato per spingere 😉

    Liebe Wanderer! Bin gestern (SA) vom Bahnhof St. Johann im Pongau über Panoramawege - Schwimmbad - Hahnbaum auf sehr gepflegtem Weg zum HOCHGRÜNDECK gewandert! Aufstieg 1.366 Hm in 4,5 Std, Abstieg 4 Std, die Aussicht war einfach traumhaft! Ich kann die Tour wirklich jedem empfehlen! Liebe Grüße von einem schwer begeisterten Wanderer aus Wien!
