    Entlang der Strecke hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf den Fjord und auf den Wasserfall. Die Wege sind anfangs relativ breit, ab der Hälfte jedoch nur noch Trampelpfade und teilweise unwegsam. Feste Wanderschuhe unbedingt notwendig. Bei Regen nicht begehbar.

    Am Anfang ist der Weg recht mühsam, da er über Stock und Stein durch hüfthohes Farn führt und teilweise auch etwas morastig ist. Nach ca. 10 Minuten wird es dann ein angenehmer Pfad durch einen lichten Birkenwald. Bei der Geröllhalde fast am See muss man gut darauf achten, dass man die Markierungen nicht verliert, wenn der Weg sich im unteren Viertel scharf nach links wendet. Es war für uns eine schöne und einsame Wanderung, beim See hörten wir überhaupt keine Zivilisationsgeräusche.

    Quite simple hike to a small hydro power plant and two impressive waterfalls further upstream. The power plant was down, and maybe that’s the reason for the impressive waterfalls. The tour is well marked (July 2025) wit blue spray paint dots. At its end it continues with red dots in more steep area but I went back after reaching a lager way.

    Trotz der Jahreszeit noch einige unkritische Schneefelder und zwei Wassersäule ohne Brücken/Stege zu überqueren. Gesamthaft eine abwechslungsreiche Strecke. Der Einblick in den Canyon ist nicht so spektakulär wie erhofft.
