A technical and scenic route that starts in the historic center of Bormio, reaches the Stelvio Pass via ancient military mule trails, and returns via the spectacular Cancano Lakes and the Fraele Towers.
This route is likely the most representative of the area: it allows you to experience the Stelvio Pass, the Stelvio National Park, Cancano, and the Fraele Towers in a single adventure, while remaining manageable for many experienced trail runners without the complexity of the 120-km route.
