Trail runs in Lippe

Beautiful trail route, mostly trail and single trail. Between Heesten and Bellenberg (km 15.9 to 17.4) you have to walk along a side road, but it is less trafficked. Arrival / departure possible by S5 from Hanover or Paderborn.

The Wappenweg around Bielefeld basically runs along the city boundary. It is marked with the coat of arms of the former County of Ravensberg - three chevrons on a silver shield - and takes on the function of the old boundary paths on which the borders of a municipality were once paced out. On Saturday, September 7, 2019, there will be another run on the Wappenweg. As a new feature, a hike will take place in parallel on a section of the "Puddingthon" from Spenge to the Senne over 50 km. The Wappenweg will not be followed in detail either by running or hiking.

Trail running route from Holzhausen-Externsteine: Wiggengrund, Old Postal Route, Langenbergweg.

From the Lange Tal hiking car park on the district road from Schlangen to Veldrom, the route leads through the Langetal up to the Eggeberg and back through the Vorteltal. Several altitude meters must be overcome, so the route is quite demanding.

Scenically beautiful forest route from the Hasselholz hiking car park near Schlangen through the Vortel Valley over the Eggeberg to Bauernkamp and back through the Lange Valley.

This circular route is characterized by the contrast between the forest and the medieval small town of Horn.

Usually, these are passages through villages or crossings of country or federal roads. The rest runs on forest and field paths, which partly have difficult terrain conditions but are mostly easy to walk on. Measured (barometric) the route has about 1100m ascent and about 1300m descent.

From Leopoldstal up to the Egge ridge and along it for a bit. Demanding but not as bad as it seems and very scenic.

Run through the snow-covered Teutoburg Forest from Holzhausen-Externsteine to the Dreiflussstein and back.
