    Die Tour ist bis auf den Trubel rund um das Karwendelhaus wirklich traumhaft schön!! Allerdings stimmen die Höhenmeterangaben nicht: die Tour hat keine 2900hm sondern nur ca. 2250!!!

    Starke Runde für starke Läufer! Wenn die Gebirgsjäger die Runde wirklich *durch*laufen, dann Respekt meine Herren und Damen! Als mittelschwacher Läufer heißt es an etlichen Stelen "embrace the hike"! Einzelheiten: - Bin am Halltaleingang gestartet. Die Strecke durch Absam nach Thaur ist nicht sehr attraktiv, immer auf Asphalt die Straße entlang. - Auf die Thaurer Alm ist es eine gute Laufstrecke (Forststraße), aber Vorsicht! Bloß nicht den "alten Weg" nehmen, auch wenn er noch so urig und spannend ausschaut! Der Untergrund ist fürs Laufen zu uneben und es ist auch viel zu steil. Zudem habe ich mich 1a verlaufen und habe mich dann durchs Unterholz zum Forstweg durchgearbeitet. Auch bei Hitze im Hochsommer eine gute Strecke, da immer wieder Schatten vorhanden ist. - Kurz nach der Thaurer Alm geht der Weg zum Thörl über eine Kuhweide (nur an ein paar Steinen markiert). Ist enorm steil und mühsam, sehr heiß und ohne Schatten. Für mich war hier an Laufen nicht zu denken. - Herrliches Panorama am Thörl ins Halltal! - Vom Thörl zu den Herrenhäusern relativ steil und schotterig. Will man keine Steine für die Wanderer unterhalb auslösen ist an Laufen auch nicht zu denken. Man muss relativ vorsichtig gehen. - Bald nach den Herrenhäusern wieder Teerstraße, dafür gibt es zwei Brunnen zum erfrischen. Alles in allem ein wenig viel Teerstraße und von Thaurer Alm bis Herenhäuser kaum zu laufen. Trotzdem eine nette Runde.

    Sind die Tour gewandert. Allerdings zuerst den Steig und das flache Stück am Schluss. Sehr schöne Tour. Den See von allen Seiten genießen.
