Meadow circular route - short round
Winter hiking in Grän means not only physical activity but also experiencing a winter fairy-tale landscape. The combination of gentle ascents, well-prepared paths, and the enchanting winter atmosphere makes these hikes an unforgettable experience for nature and hiking enthusiasts alike.
Along the approximately 81 kilometers of cleared hiking trails, there is so much to discover and see, so much fresh air to take in, that every step becomes a pleasure
- with inns and cafés along the routes offering extensive opportunities to refresh and warm up. Those who want to experience something very special can join a guided snowshoe hike. Those who want to go high have two options in the Tannheimer Valley to climb a summit even in winter: the Neunerköpfle in Tannheim with the largest summit register in the Alps or the Gamskopf with the panorama informant in Grän.
Author’s recommendation
For photography enthusiasts, a magical mood presents itself at sunrise and sunset. The snow-covered splendor of the meadows is skillfully highlighted by the warm colors of the sky, and the snow-covered trees cast long shadows over the landscape.
