We start our circular walk around Spitzingsee in the village of Spitzingsee, where we can also leave our car. Passing the Arabella Alpenhotel, we stroll along the lake on the promenade towards the Taubenstein cable car. The path is clearly signposted and almost impossible to miss. About halfway, the hiking trail moves a bit away from the lake and we walk uphill to the Kurvenlift; past the BLSV building, it continues through the forest and along the lake back to the village of Spitzingsee.
