The highlight of the difficult variant is a 23m long rope bridge. However, a bypass is possible. After the climbing in the wild gorge, you reach a beautiful meadow plateau with some small lakes and can enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery from the hut terrace.
The route is ideal for a day trip.
The start of the easy and difficult via ferrata is in the wall recesses below the beautifully located Hanauer Hut. From the Hanauer Hut, you descend the path toward Boden and reach the start at the rock wall after about 15 minutes.
From the parking lot in Boden, follow the forest road uphill along the valley to the material cable car. Then over a narrow path, initially easy, after crossing the stream sometimes somewhat steeper toward the hut. Where the path comes very close to the rock wall is the start of the via ferratas.

Roadbook
After the start, you walk on a ledge forward toward the gorge, where the two via ferratas split. If you go right, into a groove, you enter the easy via ferrata. After a short ramp, you turn left into the wall, where the via ferrata also goes straight up. Here is the key section. From there, you walk slightly diagonally up the wall until you reach the second groove. From here, you go right up the groove until you come to a bench. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view into the Anger valley. After that, you continue up the groove to the end. Throughout the groove, you should step carefully and attentively, as there is quite a lot of loose scree lying around to avoid causing rockfall. At the end, you turn left toward the exit. From there, a few meters to the right to the helicopter landing site.
Arrived, you should again take in the beautiful view of the Dremelspitze and the Plattig East Ridge. After a few steps, the Hanauer Hut invites you to a hearty snack.
