Separate information about local links is available at the individual points of interest.Roadbook
We start our route at Haus Böttcher, the oldest preserved townhouse in the city of Marsberg. From there we head north to Nikolaikirche. Then we continue further north on Eresburgstraße. On the left side, we pass the local history museum, see the above description. At the junction with Münzstraße, we reach the pillory with the old town hall. Our path then leads past the Ohler Cross and turns right into the street "Am Stift". The entrance to the collegiate area is formed by the Benedict arch. Behind it is the Roland column. We reach the former monastery and then the collegiate church. Afterwards, we follow the path diagonally over the cemetery and turn right there to reach Buttenturm. The serpentine paths there lead down to the right. At the bottom, we turn left and go to the Drakenhöhlen caves. We keep left and walk slightly uphill to the Möders cliffs. Then we follow the circular path "Auf der Mauer" further south, where we reach the shooting house. Opposite the shooting house is the Weiken-Siebers procession cross. We then return along the circular path "Auf der Mauer" further south. We cross Eresburgstraße and see the Menne Cross on the left. Then we reach the water tower. Below and to the right of the water tower is the Jewish cemetery. Then we turn right onto Mönchhofstraße and look at the Wegener Cross on the right side. We follow the course of Mönchhofstraße, turn right into Brunnenstraße and stop at the junction with Pagenstraße in front of house number 19. Then we go up Pagenstraße and turn left, where we reach Eresburgstraße 31, Steinen Haus via Brunnen- and Henry-Heide-Straße. Our historical route ends here.
