The Pro Challenge 2 is the most demanding route of the PIUT. It starts in See and runs over 100 kilometers and 6,300 meters of elevation gain to Kappl and Galtür, finishing in Ischgl. The route follows stages 1, 2, 7, and 4 of the Paznaun High Trail, including a loop over the Zeinissee and the Verwall Group in Galtür. The trail passes notable points such as the Ascher Hut, Alpe Gamperthun, Niederelbehütte, Rauher Kopf, Berglisee, and Zeinissee, as well as Grieskogel and the Friedrichshafen Hut, before ending in Ischgl after the last valley section. This challenge tests even the most experienced trail runners and combines four extreme ascents and descents, technical passages, summit climbs, and unforgettable panoramic views of the fascinating alpine landscape.
