This trail is short but includes a big ascent and a big descent on the two sides of La Breya.
Enjoy the restaurant at La Breya to eat and admire the view!

Our ambassador Jules-Henri Gabioud's opinion:
"This lovely route is quite varied from the Champex station. The climb via the Trappers' path is quite steep but the panorama offered at the summit of La Breya is worth it and, moreover, the restaurant terrace is available to the runner for a small break. The descent via the Val d’Arpette is on the black piste and offers a technical and sporty terrain for a good training session."
Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.

From the Champex tourism office, reach the Revers ski lift and follow the lake on the right bank. Leave the lakeshore on the right and take a dirt road to a campsite. Then take the path continuing in the same direction and crossing a scree slope until you reach the La Forêt Voutaz trail junction. Follow the Trappers' path climbing towards the La Breya chairlift. At the summit, go around the chairlift on the right, then take the small path descending in the middle of a ski slope and a scree slope before reaching the road. Then join the center of the resort by the main road.
